Nancy Meck with Meck Organizing is amazing. We hired Nancy to unpack from our last move into our forever house. By the end of the first day, all of the boxes were unpacked. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were set up and organized. On the second day, the common areas and kitchen were organized. After only two days, all of our boxes were empty, packing materials were broken down and ready for removal, and we were ready to live in our new home! I was so happy with the experience!

Nancy is one of greatest resources you never knew you needed. As a recovered hoarder from a long line of hoarders, finding and retaining the services of a professional organizer was an investment in my own sanity and I can’t believe I waited more than 15 years following my mom’s death to go through everything. Rather than avoid and hold on to clutter that had absolutely zero value–utility or sentimental–getting someone in to plow through it was the most cathartic experience I’ve ever had. I got rid of more than 90% of my belongings (kept only what really “belonged”) and either recycled, sold, donated or dumped the rest. My home was a mess! Nancy and her team came in and put the disorder in order. I really learned from Meck Organizing that you do not have to keep everything. We used them again when we moved. Nancy recommended a mover and had Amy her assistant coordinate the move. This was the best part we had organizers at the new house who put together my home. It made moving not so hectic. We have our 3-year-old daughter we’re raising and my wife and I own our business. That means we are always working. Every day had become hectic and stressful. My wife and I were always frustrated with each other. We had lost balance in our lives and in our home. We finally agreed to take a weekend to reprioritize what we were doing. We hired Nancy to help us organize our house because we had lots of toys and baby clothes we wanted to get rid of.
We sat down with Nancy before we began and she asked us lots questions about our business and our lifestyle. Pretty soon Nancy was going through closets, shelves, and desks. She helped us get rid of things we didn’t need anymore. She helped us organize our office, our paper files, and even helped us organize some of our computer files. She showed us how we could take a list of everything we wanted to get done and then break it down into categories that we could organize on our own.
By the end of the weekend our house was completely organized, our car was full of things to drop off at Goodwill (and get a tax deduction in the process!) and our systems we used in our business were fine tuned. We are so grateful to Nancy for getting us organized and back on track!

My husband and I recently moved into a new home and our garage was filled with furniture, household items, and memorabilia that had been untouched in a storage unit for over 2 years. In order to get settled into our new home and make room for our growing family, Nancy helped us to review and sort the items into three categories – keep, donate, or sell. It was extremely helpful to have an outside perspective to determine what items we had an emotional connection to and what items were just taking up space! With her organizational skills and expertise, our garage not only has room for our cars, but everything that should be stored in the garage has a proper place – e.g. sporting equipment, gardening and lawn, electrical cords, etc. Additionally, Nancy scheduled a company to pick up the items that were being donated, assisted with selling the furniture, and sent a detailed email that outlined any remaining items for us to handle. We couldn’t have done it as efficiently or effectively without her!
